After much encouragement from friends and family especially my boyfriend of almost 6 years, I have decided to come up with my own blog. Well... this is actually a shared blog between my boyfriend (Cliff - that's his name since you probably will be hearing a lot about him and I don't want him to be known as my nameless boyfriend) and I. It will actually showcase what we both love - food, books, movie review, travel, and Japanese cartoons aka Anime (but mostly about food).
I can't really say much about myself except that my name is Jacky and I work for a hotel somewhere in South Florida. I enjoy cooking and eating out, watching movies and anime and travelling. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment by the beach with a pet named Hamlet. Cliff on the other hand is taking up his master's degree in International Business Administration while working part time in the school library. He is due to finish by June 2010 so we are both super excited!
Ok so after this small introduction which I would hopefully update along the way, this blog was actually intended to focus on just food. But while thinking about this a couple days ago it had sink into me, why not write something about our life. Because if I probably talk about food the whole time, one would eventually grow tired of reading the blogs.
So I think that's basically it, here is to a great start and many more blogs to come.
